The Advantix top is intended for insertion of a 5–30 mm thick covering made of tiles or natural stone. Use only in combination with an Advantix drain or an Advantix stacking element for bonded sealing.
Minimum and maximum size of the plate cover.
Drainage capacity with 5 mm inlet gap 0.4 l/s.
Drainage capacity with 8 mm inlet gap 0.5 l/s.
The height of the tileable plate.
Dimension of the inlet gap: 5‑8 mm.
Remove the site protection.
Determine the screed height.
Shorten the inlet element.
Upper edge of screed = upper edge of flange
Fit the inlet element into the drain unit.
Upper edge of screed = upper edge of flange
Install the inlet element with backflow seal.
Line the flange.
Use screed to plaster the flange.
Remove the protective foil and the site protection after the screed has hardened.
Use the tiling aid.
Tile the floor up to the tiling aid.
The lengths of the tile squares can be 88‑94 mm.
The thickness of the tiles can be 5‑30 mm.
Apply the tile adhesive to the grate.
Press the cut out tile into the tile adhesive.
Align the tile parallel to the grate.
Remove the tiling aid.
Determine the installation height up to the upper edge of the the tiles.
If necessary, cut the tiled grate to tile-level.
Fit the tiled grate into the stacking element or into the drain unit.
Risk of damage due to unsuitable cleaning agent.
The following cleaning agents can damage chrome-plated surfaces and therefore may not be used:
scouring agent
abrasive sponges
lime, plaster or cement dissolver
solvents or other acidic cleaning agents
Normal soap or a mild cleaning agent can be used for regular care and prevention of lime scale. Under no circumstances should scouring agent or scratching objects be used.
Strong stains, even around the drain unit and the siphon, can be removed using typical household cleaner. Please note that the cleaning agent must be rinsed off thoroughly with clear water after the prescribed soaking time. There should be no residue on the components.
Separate the product and packaging materials (e. g. paper, metal, plastic or non-ferrous metals) and dispose of in accordance with valid national legal requirements.
